A Day at Underwater World

This was a nice Sunday with Renee and Lillie. They came over about 10.30 we had a cup of tea and cake then went down to the park a bit of playing to do. Then about noon we decided to go to Underwater World fantastic place Lillie was so excited. I took heaps of photos so it will explain itself.

Currimundi Walk

23/11 Drove south to Currimundi and walked around the lake, plenty of bird life, lizards,  watched a D10 cat dozer pushing sand at the mouth of lake Currimundi, what it was doing I don't know.  Very quite area with a beautiful beach, could easily retire there.

A day at Australia Zoo

29/11 we visited Australia zoo, also a sad day my sister Pat passed away, I will go into more details later.
At the zoo we spent the day visiting all the attractions, probably the best been was the show at the crocoseum where first had birds flying about the arena, macaws, jaberoo, major Mitchel's, black yellow tail & white cockatoos and the finale was the rainbow lorikeets with ACDC playing, made us all laugh.
next came snakes of all types, then the crocks, what a great show.  Rest of the day was spent looking at all the rest of the park, I'll let the photos tell the story.

Yes it was a fabulous DAY!!!!!!

Noosa River Ferry

Thursday 24 Nov, we caught the noosa river ferry from Tewantin, a full day around trip, get on and off when you like.   Our first stop was Hastaings street Noosa where we meandended round the streets, had lunch, walked on the beach, browsed the shops, TOOOO Dear!!!

Back on the ferry hopped off at the Big Pelican, coffee & cake, (we're both putting on weight), looked at more shops, back on the ferry, stopped off at the floating restaurant, went for a good walk, back on the ferry to Tewantin.
